  • Prices for group booking can be arranged in advance.
  • Prices for whole ramp booking rather than whole park can be negotiated.
  • All private hire prices include; the use of safety equipment and blades.
  • All private hire prices include the sole use of the whole of the inside of the Park.

  • A Recomended maximum of 20 a absolute maximum of 30 skaters or 15 bikes. Bikes must be BMX's.
  • 20% deposits wll be required, if cancelled within 5 working days this will be non-refundable.
  • Otherwise the amount payable will be the cost minus the deposit.

Safety

  1. All activities undertaken in or around Unit 18, 19 and 20 if the extension is developed) Ferndale Skate Park are conducted at own risk. No responsibility will be accepted by Ferndale Skate Park (FSP) Limited, users and visitors alike.
  2. Full safety equipment, that is helmets, wrist guards, elbow and knee pads must be worn at all times whilst in the skating area and by all participants under the age of 16, regardless of ability or activity. All persons for those aged 16 and over must wear a safety helmet (no exceptions) and strongly encouraged to wear wrist guards, elbow and knee pads at all times in the skating area. If the person wishes to refuse to wear the wrist guards, elbow and knee pads they can only be allowed into the skating area after completing a disclaimer accepting full personal responsibility and liability, and no responsibility or liability will be accepted by Ferndale Skate Park (FSP) Limited.
  3. Skateboarding, inline roller-blading and BMX bike riding is an extremely dangerous sport that can result in death or serious head, neck or other bodily injuries. By signing the Members or Non Members application form I acknowledge that I have read this very serious warning and accept full responsibility of myself or my child, or child in my guardianship and no further responsibility or liability will be accepted by Ferndale Skate Park (FSP) Limited.
  4. Please note that the protective safety equipment cannot protect the Users against all foreseeable and unforeseeable injuries and accidents, twists and impacts.
  5. All BMX bikes must have at least one functioning brake.
  6. A maximum of 3 BMX bikes are permitted into Ferndale Skate Park premises at any one time.
  7. You agree to conduct yourself according to the generally accepted rules of ‘skate etiquette’ whilst participating in sessions at Ferndale Skate Park and to take due care and attention at all times whilst in the skating area.
  8. For safety and hygiene reasons no food or drink should be brought into or consumed within the skating area.
  9. No throwing objects, including helmets, skateboards, etc. in the skating area or anywhere inside the Ferndale Skate Park building.
  10. We recommend that you do not attempt to ride ramps or perform manoeuvres you feel are beyond your skill level.
  11. In the interest of safety, beginners and those new to ramp riding should take time to familiarise themselves with the ‘rhythm’ of the park before venturing into the main skating area.
  12. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult at all times whilst in and around Ferndale Skate Park premises.
  13. Smoking will not be permitted inside the Ferndale Skate Park building.
  14. Trade in or consumption of drugs or alcohol in or around Ferndale Skate Park premises will not be tolerated.
  15. Abusive, discourteous or otherwise anti-social behaviour in or around Ferndale Skate Park premises will not be tolerated.
  16. Littering, vandalism or unauthorised graffiti will not be tolerated anywhere in or around Ferndale Skate Park premises and may result in legal action.
  17. If attending school, you agree not to use Ferndale Skate Park during school hours other than to participate in school sponsored events.
  18. You agree not to use the skate park whilst under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  19. You agree to abide by instruction given by skate park supervisors, staff and stewards at all times.
  20. Parents/guardians/spectators will not be permitted to enter the skating area. Parents/guardians wishing to assist their children in the Beginner’s Area are permitted to enter the skating area.
  21. Payments must be made prior to participating in any session. Non-payment will be treated as theft.
  22. No refunds will be made for those leaving a session prematurely.
  23. Membership is valid for 12 months from the day of purchase. Membership is non-transferable.
  24. Forgery of Member ID cards or impersonation of another member will be treated as theft.
  25. Ferndale Skate Park assumes no responsibility for the damage, loss or theft of any personal belongings brought into the facility. Personal items should not be left unattended anywhere in or around Ferndale Skate Park premises.
  26. Failure to abide by these generally accepted terms and conditions or to falsify information/consent will result in refusal of entry.
  27. The management reserve the right to refuse entry at any point and to change the terms and conditions of entry. Ferndale Skate Park will endeavour to notify all members of changes to the terms and conditions; however Ferndale Skate Park reserves the right not to notify members of these changes.
  28. You recognise the high risk of injury involved with participation in the various sports undertaken at Ferndale Skate Park and agree to participate at your own risk.
  29. You agree to waive all liability claims against Ferndale Skate Park Ltd., its directors, employees and volunteers for any injuries, ailments or other damage to yourself or personal belongings whilst using Ferndale Skate Park facilities.

FAQ's

Do you have to wear a helmet?

Everyone has to wear a helmet regardless of skill, ability or age.

Do you have to wear pads?

Pads are age and personally dependant, we ask you to sign a release form if you wish to not wear pads however anyone under the age of 16, the wearing of pads is neccisary.

Do you have to pay for the computers?

The computers are charged at £1.50 for internet.
